Generation 1 -Chapter 2- Kitty

Ugh. Mornings.
I hated leaving my warm bed-which felt oddly warmer than usual- but i really needed to get up.

As I went to go make my bed., I froze in shock, gawking at what had been sleeping beside me.
Dustin. Dustin Samuels. In my bed. Shirtless. Only in his boxers. Did I mention he was IN MY BED?!!

I screamed, causing him to immediately jump out of my bed.

"What? Where? Who?' He groggily questioned nothing, before realising where he was.

He decided to scream too.
"Oh my God! Kitty! We didn't!"

"Oh my God, oh my God."
I coudn't believe this. I didn't even remember leaving the movies last night! Did I get drunk or something? I scanned last night's events, remembering what had happened.
I had fallen asleep at some point, and Dus had brought me to my car and driven me home.
I relayed this relieving information to him.

"Oh..." He sighed. "I, uh, must've decided to crash here or something."

"Yeah... I'm -uh- glad nothing happened last night we would've regretted..."

"Yeah.."

I couldn't help but stare at his defined chest. God, he was packed. I'd never really seen him shirtless. Some voice in my mind was screaming, Take him right now! You still love him! But I pushed it away. He was just a friend. FRIEND. You two could be friends with benefits... I pushed that thought away too. Besides, those relationships never worked out anyways...

"Well, I'm gonna go take a shower." He sighed and walked out of my bedroom.

I was in the kitchen making waffles when I heard the sound of the front door opening and someone sitting down at the dining room table. I didn't have to look back to know it was Amy.
"Hey." i greeted her from over my shoulder.

"Hey. Haha, sorry I ditched you guys last night at the movies. Who's in the shower."

"It's fine. You do it all the time. And, um, Dustin's in the shower."

I didn't have to look back to know she had her eyebrow raised and confused look on her face.

Just then, I heard the bathroom door open.
"Speak of the devil..." I muttered to myself.

"Oh, ah- Hi Amy."

Amy exchanged glances between Dustin and I for a few moments before simply standing up and pushing in her chair, a half smile on her face.
"I'll see you two lovebirds later."

"Ame, it's not..."

Amy didn't respond, but just walked out the door. I sighed.

I glanced back over at Dustin, who still looked embarassed.
"So, since she's gone, do you wanna go somewhere?"

"Sure."
**************************************************

"Come on!" Dustin urged.
Dus had practically had been dragging me down the path, my hand held in his. He had finally decided to slow his pace.

This was all so weird. Yesterday, we were friends. He sleeps in my bed, and now it seemed that dumb crush I had had on him seemed to be making its way back into my life.

He dragged me into the old Octagon Art Museum here in Riverview. I hadn't been in here since I was a child. It was so beautiful, like I remembered it.

Dustin grabbed my hand once again and brought me up the flight of oak steps to the top of the museum, which had the best paintings plastered on the walls. He lead me to the a painting of a villa.
"Do you know this one?" Dustin asked.
I nodded. "Of course. When I came here as a kid, this was always my favorite."
"Mine too. My grandma once me that the house in this building in where her mother, my great-grandmother, grew up and this was painted by her."
"Wow. I wish I was that well of a painter. This picture looks more like a photograph rather than something done with paint."

We stared at the painting a few moments before Dus spoke up again.
"It's getting dark. How about we go to the park and watch stars or something. I feel inspired." he winked at the end.
"Oh. Okay."

"The sky looks so beautiful like this, Dustin. You know, when its at the peak of turning dark blue, and only a few stars have decided to show themselves..."
"Yeah... beautiful..." He sighed

Before I knew it, he had slyly paced his hand on top of mine. It shocked me a bit. I looked over at Dus, who was smiling at me. I smiled backed and moved closer.

We stayed silent the whole entire time, pointing out various constellations to each other. I couldn't believe how geeky I was. I nearly spotted every single one, and I knew all there names.

Finally, the two of us decided that it was getting late and we better get home.
As we both stood up, Dus and I hit our heads together.
"Ow." We groaned simutaneously, our hands drawing up to our foreheads.
We stared at each other a few seconds before... it happened.
Our lips crushed together. Dustin's warm, pink lips against mine. The feeling was phenomonal. I was definitely sure about this; I loved Dustin, and it seemed as though the feeling was mutual.

Generation 1 -Chapter 1- Kitty

I definitely was not a morning person, but waffles always seemed to lighten my crappy mood. I went to go pop some in the oven when my cellphone began ringing.
I closed the oven door with one hand, and grabbed my phone with the other, quickly glancing at the caller ID befor pressing "Talk".
Only one person would call me this early in the morning- Amy Lynn, my best friend.

I put my phone to my ear. "What do you want?"
"Oooohh...." She responded. "I don't even get a 'good morning'? I should get at least a 'Hello' from my Kitty."
"Hahaha-" I sarcastically laughed. "Seriously why'd you call?"
"Can I come over? I'm hungry."
"Don't you have food?"
"Yeah, but I'm too lazy to make anything."
I sighed. "Fine, I actually making breakfast right now."
"What are you making?"
"I'm making-" Something smelt like it was burning! I gasped. "Waffles!"
I basically threw my phone on the counter top and darted over to the oven.

"Damn it." I muttered to myself.
I set the waffles on the stove top and picked my cell back up, only to be greeted with Amy frantically yelling into my eardrum.
"Kitty? Kitty? Katherine! Are you there?? Kitty!"
"Amy!" I yelled over her.
"Oh, thank God! I heard like yelling and your phone drop and I though someone was attacking you or something!!"
I sighed. Amy worried to much. "Nah, I'm fine. But unfortunately, the waffles aren't."
"Awww!!" She whined.
"I have cookies, though."
"Yay!"
******************************************************************
The two of us where sitting at the my dining room table, when Amy spoke up.
"Okay, so I have a plan. How about me, you, and Dustin go to the movies tonight?"

I groaned. The movies sounded fun, but I knew what Amy was up to. Every time we went to the movies, Amy would end up going to the bathroom, and never coming back, leaving me and Dus alone, which would somehow have the outcome of me and him magically form undying love for one another.
Dustin was my other best friend. I had a crush on him for years, but it simply passed. Ever since, its been Amy's life long goal to get the two of to hook up.
Honestly, I didn't like Dus that- at least anymore.

"That depends." I replied. "Your not going to have to 'go to the bathroom' again, are you?"

She shot me a cheeky smile. "I dunno... its not like I have a piss schedule..."

Great.
**********************************************************************
At about 7:00, Amy and I headed over to the the local movie theater in my small Prius.

As we walked in, Dustin waved and called our names.

"Kitty! Amy!"

We walked over, and I gave him a friendly hug.

"Hey Dus!"
"Hey, Kit."

"So.. you guys ready to go in for the movie?"

"Haha, duh. Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh?" Dustin winked at the end.

I sighed. Of course, Amy being her nerdy self, would bring us to Winnie the freaking Pooh. But then again, that bear was pretty freaking awesome.

As usual, I was in the middle of Dus and Amy.
Oddly, we were the only ones in the theater.

Halfway through the movie, leaned over.

"Hey, I need to go use the bathroom."

I glanced over and shot her a threatening look.
"You sure about that, Amy?" I hissed.

She instantly cowered in fear. "I... er... uh, guess not."

I went back to watching the movie, only for her begin whining a few minutes later.

"Kitttttyyyyyyyyy!!!! I reallllllyyyyyy nneeeeddddd tooooo gooooo!!!"

"Ugh fine!" I groaned, waving her off.

She jumped up and began walking out.

After she was gone, Dus tapped me on the shoulder.

"She's not coming back, is she?"

Me and him had good through this too many times.

"Don't count on it, buddy."
